Hello! I am Susie Teague. I am very excited to be a new part of the team at Fidalgo Island Health Center. After working with children, adolescents, individuals, and families for 20+ years for physical, emotional, and mental health and wellbeing, I began studying Neurological Integration System (NIS) with Dr. Bentz and Dr. Allan Phillips. For the last two years I’ve been providing NIS health and wellness services to my Lopez Island community.
My background, education and training are various holistic care services – Psychology, Therapeutic Recreation, Herbalism/Nutrition, Ministry, Reiki and more currently, NIS services. Hospitals, community non-profit organizations and schools, are where I shared most of my health and wellness services. As well, in 2006, my husband and I started our small family business, Whispers of Nature. We grow medicinal herbs in our herbal labyrinth garden, process and manufacture herbals and offer various classes and events to the community.
When I’m not serving my extraordinary clients, gardening and processing plants, or tending our goats, you’ll find my husband and I playing music, singing, kayaking, paddle boarding, volunteering in the community, or visiting our beautiful grand-daughter, daughter, family and friends.
I feel deep respect and honor for all beings. I believe in connecting with our internal wisdom and intelligence, and listening, which enables each of us to live to our full potential and capacity. I am so grateful for all of the many blessings in my life.
I look forward to being a part of your health and wellness team!
